1713295314389.pngDenver's second F-612. First view I've seen with it "plugged in". All the other pics I've seen of it show it being mic-ed up.

I heard he used to go to the Westerly plant to pick up his Guild he bought. Or maybe that was just the one instance, but pretty cool story as I recall.

Look at the inlay on that thing!
Yeah, bleah. Definitely not my thing. Also, JD did weird things to the saddle (independent of the inlay work, that is).

@lonesome picker I agree... I don't recall seeing his F-612s amplified either. Then again, I rarely have seen this F-612 of his in pictures anyway.

I think mine is nicer. :)

Custom JF55-12. 2 were sold here on LTG. I have the other one, although it is not nearly as ornate. Great guitar, though.

Very cool, @awagner . Do you know where they came from, awagner? I.e., did you have yours built for you or did someone else order it that way. Would love to see a pic of yours.

@GAD, I actually do like that inlay work. It's a little much for my taste, but when I see vines I'm always drawn to my Ibanez background... Tough not to love 'em.

Both guitars were built in the Nashville Custom Shop.

I believe the guitar he is playing is an early F512, not a F612. No inlays on the bridge, and no checkered headstock binding.

Ah yes, the travel section. I think that was where, after looking at all the books, he was overheard saying, “I Can See For Miles."

Otherwise, “I Can’t Explain.”
I was going to say he was "Goin' Mobile," but that was John's song. Maybe he was going to go on a Magic Bus tour?
