In an effort to cut down on scammers, I have configured the system so that 0-post members can no longer use the Conversations system (commonly referred to as PMs). That means they cannot send or received PMs.
This *should* almost eliminate a commonly seen scam tactic where someone joins and then sends a PM to someone with a WTB thread saying that their friend has one of those and to email them as scammer@free-email.com.
If you have any issues with Conversations and you've got more than 0 posts then I may have done something wrong, in which case please PM me... If you can. LOL
As a reminder, the only place that a user with zero posts can post now is in the New Member Introductions forum.
