Stunning collection... thanks for sharing it with us. I've never seen a Howard before! I do love the old Epiphones. I have a more modest collection, including a '48 Broadway, a '46 Triumph and a '44 Olympic, all uncut and in good shape. I play the Triumph the most, but the Broadway has a warmth that can't be beat. A friend just bought a 16" '34 Broadway, walnut backed and I think X braced with a very nice voice.

Again, thanks for sharing your guitars and for taking the time to put up such a nice site.

thansk for the compliments. Afterall, Epiphone's are just dinosaur Guilds, right

I have had many Guilds over the years, X400, two X175s, CE100D etc. Apparently it received a little more love during production because this X500 sounded and played better than any of the others.
