While ebay is no longer the wonderful site it once was, there is no doubt that if one is a careful, and knowledgeable shopper, they can still find excellent bargains there. It is just more difficult, and less fun than it once was.

Sometimes, the steal deals come about because the seller and the
eventual buyer are the only two people who have an interest in the item.
I got a 1980's Finnish hockey helmet with a Canadian custom-made goaltender's mask for $150.00 U.S. because no one else wears gear like that any more...........except me.
