Hi I'm new to the forum, I have a Guild D-50 made in 1990 . I had a new bone nut made and fitted for me because the old one split.

After that i had a bone saddle made, but the guy didn't do a god job on the saddle in my opinion. I was thinking of having one made by bob colosi, but he wants to know what the radius is ?? I have the thickness and the width but can anyone help me if they know what the fretboard radius is on my guitar?

Thank you in advance

Colin

Hi Joe,

I notice you have an '89 D50. Do you happen to know the fretboard radius of yours?

Cheers

I'd really want a good luthier to have the guitar in hand for fitting it for a saddle...

Colin,

I have no idea about the radius, but I do know that the rosewood and spruce have mellowed so well in 21 years that the guitar just rings with beautiful sound!
Finger picked or flat picked....it's a wonderful instrument!
