2010 Guild F-30. What can you tell me about it? Considering a trade offer.

Put out a trade offer, my Martin 00-18 for a Guild and cash. Not many people seem to have D-25's these days.

Got an offer for a Guild F-30. Don't know anything about it besides it's a 2010 New Hartford made guitar. And the F-30 had quite a few variations.

On initial photo, it looks to be in good condition but will be receiving more detailed photos tomorrow.

His proposed trade value is at $1350. Reverb seems to have prices from $1000-$3000. Curious what might the reason for the large variation.

His pricing is fair if no issues. This looks like an F30 Standard which has a rosewood board and 1-3/4 nut width. Excellent playing and sounding guitar. I’m a fan of the series. I had one and regrettably sold it, but only because I have the same in a cutaway.

As far as the price range goes, the F30 has been around for a very long time in different incarnations - materials, specs. Very old ones may fetch a higher price.

Although mine's a cutaway, I love my '11 NH F-30. Assuming excellent condition, $1,350 is a good deal.

I like the F30, it’s a great acoustic. However, the 00-18 value could be twice the Guild value. $1350 is good for the F30, trade value, but I would think a Martin 00-18 used would be north of 2k. If you need to do the trade, I would think it would be for the F30 + 1k. Would that be worth it? But if you really like your 00-18, then I would look around for an older F30 to buy outright.

Yeah, I actually am looking to ask for F-30 +$1000 if I enjoy it. I like the 00-18 but I feel like what I really want for a small guitar is a 12-fret slot head style 0. So if I can get my first guild and a good chunk of the price of a new Martin parlor, I'd consider it a win.

A 12 Fret 0 size (not a parlor) Martin slot head is a rare bird, except in the custom shop. Mine ran me $4800. Worth it to me, but took forever to locate.

Yeah, I am looking more so to custom shops. They're surprisingly cheaper typically. Closer to $2000-$3000.

I also have a New Hartford F-30CE STD. It has been my go-to guitar for several years.
I don't think you could go wrong with an F-30. Good luck!

Which version of the NH F30? I think the rosewood version was priced a little higher, but either will be a nice guitar :)

The F30 is mahogany. The F30R is rosewood.
