Hello, not sure if you still have your '63 Polara or not, but if so I have a question for you.
Do you remember what the bridge studs screwed into in the body? Bushings?
I recently bought a '63 also, which had the bridge replaced with a Gibson style bridge. The weird thing is, the "studs" for the bridge are the early ABR kind, with just a 1/8" or so threaded post, and this is all that is going through the pickguard and into the body. I expected to see the larger holes from the hex head posts like you have, going through the pickguard and body, but it appears this guitar was never that way...
Any ideas?
