I’m not as familiar with these 90’s Guild for all mine are either pre’80 or post 2010. Well I’ve been wanting a bluesbird forever and this is priced to be mine! What does the community think about a ‘97 BB. Should enclose any photos? It’s pretty standard but has a “fair” rating from Guitar Center so I’m a bit curious. Guitar Center will ship it to my Guitar Center for me to check before I buy which is a nice feature that can’t be done on Reverb but Guitar Center doesn’t haggle i don’t think? Anyways! Thanks in advance!

I love ‘90s and ‘00s Bluesbirds. ‘97 I believe is when the reissued them and there are a fair number of them out there. Mine’s a bit of a player compared to my other Guilds but I got it for $800 and it rocks hard.

Since they have chambered bodies, they are relatively light weight and very comfortable to play.

I’ve got one. It’s a great guitar. I think all the 97 onwards ones are great. I’ve got a Blues 90 as well and it’s also very nice.
