TMG,

While you have your song up on Soundclick, just highlight the header at the very top of the page with a left click , right click it and pull down to "Copy" and left click that. Then come here to LTG to post it where you like, right click and "Paste" it with a left click.

Just highlight mine and delete it. You can do that by clicking the "Edit" button at the bottom of your post............................Did you figure how to get yours posted?

OK, I have tried to download it again.
It's in my last post. Please see if this link works.
PS Gardman.
I don't get anything like you described on the Soundclick page.
This is very frustrating.

A friend of mine, from our jam session, recorded the song with me singing and my Guild D-55. He then took it home and had a Bass player that he knows, put down the Bass line.
The Harmonica is my friend and the other stuff is done on some kind of synthesizer that he has.
He does some great stuff.
First time that I have had something of mine recorded.
It's a lot of fun hearing the results.

The third choice [bottom] is just me and my guitar.

TMG,
Very, Very Nice My Friend!

I listened to the Full Mix first, and very impressive....I thought the Song, your Voice (singing) and all the instruments were Great.....

Then I listened to just the Guitar and Vocals......even more impressed!

Hey, what can I say....I am an old Solo Acoustic Player/Singer....nothin' better than some great Acoustic Guitar playin' and Smooth singin'...

Well done TMG...Well Done!

Best,
MRT

I love it, man. The playing and singing are clean and accurate all around, and thematically it's a beautifully developed idea for a song.

The mix itself sounds fine in terms of balance and effects. As a recording engineer the only recommendation I would make is to roll off a little of the midbass and low midrange between 120 - 250 htz (possibly to 350) on the final mix (but not too much; -2 to -4 decibels would probably do). This will add a bit more clarity and separation to the instruments and voice by getting rid of some of the clashing “mudrange” frequencies shared by the bass, the vocals, and, to a lesser extent the lower strings of the guitar. Eqing in this way will allow the fundamentals of each instrument to come through a little better, especially on higher end sound systems and on good headphones that reproduce all the bass.

But this is all fairly minor in the scheme of things. It’s a really nice piece of work. I’m putting the downloadable mix on my iPod and I look forward to hearing more.

Thank you for all of your kind words.
The song is very special to me as it is autobiographical.
I was very surprised and pleased with what my friend did for me.

I would like to thank the members of LTG, that have posted their songs here.
It gave me the nerve to do the same.

As we have heard and said before, this is a great forum with very nice people that share the love of music and Guild Guitars.

Thank you all,
Dale. [TMG]
