Sorta reminds me of the great Doc Watson. Good to see that legacy and music tradition is kept alive! I have a live recording by Brian Sutton, Sam Bush and Jerry Douglas (plus friends!) which was a tribute to Doc in 2012. Boy, what a pleasure to listen to it.

awesome! what scales are those? i would love to learn that type of patterning as I often just play in G. though i guess with that capo it is really an A...
