I was checking Guitar Center used gear and saw a nice sunburst SF4 for $699. I called and found I was talking to a guy who thought I was talking about a guitar that was turned into him- a blond semihollow double cutaway. I asked him for more info and he described to me a blond double cut SF4 with gold hardware and binding around the f-holes. He was describing a blond Starfire 6! He checked and it was gone-sold for $1200 on day one. He then checked on the SF4 I had called about for $699 (with case) and it too was gone.
A few good deals were had this week.
