Curtis Novak Tortoiseshell Bisonic/Starfire pickup

would look great on a Fender sunburst bass with the tortoishell pickguard! or any black Musicmaster or P-bass. how about a Guild JS, walnut or black?

I couldnt think of a better pickup to go on a Fender Musicmaster bass, than a reissue Bisonic. If you had a black Musicmaster bass, with the black pickguard and the black thumb rest, and the rosewood fretboard..and put that tortoiseshell covered Bisonic on there, that would just be such a nasty short scale Fender/Guild mashup...just a gorgeous little monster. Wouldnt be the first to "Novak" a Musicmaster bass, but I havnt seen anyone use the tortoiseshell pickup yet. Great job Curtis. I just keep staring at it/into it.

So does anybody here have a Novak Bisonic. Have they compared it to a Dark Star, or a Guild Bisonic?
