That's my understanding. The 'BR' is an abbreviation of the brown in 'brown stained' But as you know with the Guild factory exceptions are always possible.

I believe this is one prominently displayed next to the keyboard player, and then used for the iconic acoustic strumming section, good stuff, go Guild!

Oh yeah, the D25BR is a champ plugged in. I no longer play live anymore, but when I did, it was a simple K&K mini pup plugged into a PA. Just a great acoustic sound that really cuts thru mix.

Not too shabby for a $225 bottom feeder acoustic...

pretty cool that Boston is still going, albeit with 2 remaining members. they kind of got lost in the instrumental there vs the studio album. Boston's "Boston" was the album that yanked me out of my Barry Manilow phase at age 11. Thank God for Boston...

LTG note: Tom's BR has the original pickguard. That must be nice...Of course I have a way cooler Hoboken TRC.

kind of an orangey brown...
I suspect that's due to fading.

Absolutely Al. Thanks for reminding me of that. Boston was for but a season. That fist album is pretty killer though. 😀

I've heard it sad they really only made one album. A couple of times.
I don’t think Tom Shultz wanted to do a 2nd album. He was already successful in another field he really liked. Dudes an engineer.
