I'm going to say he either misread something or this is another of his "jokes". He takes great pleasure in period incorrect TRC jokes so if they did not make an F50 (too lazy to look especially to explain a joke I'm not getting) in 1955 then this is the same kind of joke.

Yes. That’s where I got it. I wasn’t trying to be funny. Just posting what I saw.

Your humor confuses me when you make something that sounds like an incorrect statement of fact with a deadpan delivery. A on your end would help and I force myself to relax when your posts don't make sense

Look inside the soundhole at the label shape and you will see that she was not made in 1955...
(But F-50's were made in 1955)
