DeArmond swapping on new models?

Just curious if any experts might weigh in now that these two new models ship with the current take on DeArmond 2000 (avoiding calling them Dynasonics since I don’t want anyone to get mad) - in your experience will different era 2000 builds swap out cleanly in terms of their dimensions and their mounts? For instance if I grabbed a new green SFIII (or even an old fender built DA SF special) could I put in a vintage 2000 set with relatively little fuss?
