As posted in another thread, mine would be the day I tried to lift a wagon and messed up my back, about three years ago I think. I had never had back pain before that and now too much bending or pulling brings on the reminders.

Physical limitations of any form do not set well so I am really ticked at me.

A week before my Mom died, she asked me to go to lunch. I said no, I was too busy. Of course, I had no clue, but I always regret that decision.

I certainly have many others that have to do with numerous personal decisions, but that one pops into my mind a lot.

My academic career from grade seven onward through University.
Had I not been such a stubborn idiot in school, perhaps I would have realized my desire to become a doctor.
At the very least I wouldn't have bothered going to University, and instead, gone to a trade school to become a Tool and Die Maker.
More money than I ever did make, and vastly more job satisfaction.

I don't like dwelling on things I can't change. I learn from the past and move on. To do otherwise causes stress, pain, and wastes energy.

I try not to look back. The bad experiences can usually be turned around into a positive.

Unless you murder someone. 🤪

Hmm...I've pretty much been a fatalist my whole life. I've had so many strange synchronistic events occur things always seem to happen for a reason.
But two things off the top of my head: had I the foreknowledge my dad was going to drop that 250 lb. shuffleboard on me back in 1969 I might have
refused to use his method of getting it downstairs...OH! and of course when Chuck talked me out of buying one of these for $125 back in 1976:

The day I decided that for more power, I should keep my wrists rigid while swinging the bat.

What an idiot!

The day I bought my first Ric bass I should have bought the Ric 4004 when I had the chance. Instead, I bought the 4003 . Thought it looked more rock n roll and the 4004 looked too boutique-fusion music bass -like. Now 4004 basses are astronomical, and they have features I like better than what the 4003 has.

Heh. I did well in high school but should have taken university much more seriously. I did graduate in four years with a major in mathematics, but my transcripts are pretty disgraceful.

As much as I wanted one, I never regret not buying a Rickenbacker bass. As much as I loved Chris Squire, and wanted to be and sound like him (yeah, right), I was never able to bond with, or even like the dozens that I've tried.

One of my only regrets is not buying the '56 356 Speedster that my godmother offered me for $3500 in the late '70s. My broke ass couldn't even afford that, but oh my, what they're worth today!
