Glad to see the comment earlier that this is a good guitar without the bling.

Will Conn. be making them? Stay in Ensenada (or was that while Corona was running?)

Looking forward to one of these, compared to Alvarez Master all solid. Seems to be the only USA make in this price range.

The DV-4 was recently made in Tacoma. I have one of those. Now they're made in Mexico, I don't believe they'll be made in Conn. Nice, very nice guitar. Simple and a very full mahogany sound (scalloped bracing and bone bridge/nut). 1 11/16 in width at the nut, nice, easy neck. What's not to like? I have a Martin D-18GE and this DV-4 is close enough in wonderful sound that I've had a hard time letting the DV-4 go for some time now. However, I find the clubbier neck and the 1 3/4 in nut width of the GE to work better for me (so it is, alas, for sale on my local Craigslist to find it a new home.)

Go get one! Not really sure about the Mexican made models, never tried one. I have played a few of the Tacomas and liked every one.

I tried an Ensenada DV4 in a store, & it played & sounded fine in my opinion, & at a price that says "Why ship from Asia?".
