Maybe I'm completely wrong in this section of the forum,
maybe we could fill a forum of it's own with that:

What effects do you use with your acoustics?

My F20 with a Fishman soundhole PU thru a Boss DD3 delay pedal is some kind of fun.

My BOSS BCB-6 case is loaded with the following:

BOSS TU-2 Tuner
BOSS TR-2 Tremolo
Ibanez TS-9 Overdrive
BOSS DM-2 Analog Delay
BOSS CH-1 Super Chorus
BOSS RV-3 Digital Delay/Reverb

I use them all when I play solo gigs. My main gigging axe is my '06 D-55 w/Fishman Matrix pup.

I use K&K Pure Western mini ("standard" in my F112) pickups normally just through an LR Baggs Para D/I or straight through to the board with no effects at all in some places. I've considered experimenting with my Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay, but haven't tried that yet... maybe someday.

My setup:

Boss TU2 tuner
into: Behringer ADI21 (basically a sansamp DI ripoff), which is has tube emulation circuitry to warm things up a bit
into: Yamaha Magicstomp. I use variouis reverbs, delays, tape echos, and multi-effects. It also has some acoustic through tube-mic emulations (with reverb) that I like a lot
into: Aphex Acoustic Exciter (this has both "bottom" boost and "exciter" functions)

I have K&K's on both the D35 and the Martin. I run them thru a K&K pre amp/E.Q.

I used to play in a duo and ran the guitars into a Zoom A.2 acoustic multi box and a Berringer volume pedal. I found the basic reverb and chorus effects quite good. Some of the other stuff, resonator, 12 string, 000, etc.. less so. The volume pedal was very handy. Songs that were finger picked for example I could easily boost the volume a bit, then tone it back for flat picked or strummed songs.

As does Fungusyoung, I am also using the K & K pickup coupled to an LR Baggs Para DI with good results. Someday though, I would like to step up to that Tonebone acoustic preamp.

Lately, I have been experimenting with using an ibanez compressor/ sustain pedal but the jury is still out on that one. More testing to be done.

A collection of pedals with a decent pedal board is quite the investment.

Hi, Markus,

greetings from Bregenz to Vienna - first of all: we use a Marshal lAcoustic Amp AS 100 D, still an English original - and - as Jerry mentioned already - a blues harp!

So, go on Guild!

Thanks for your hints!

I bought a Boss CE5 Chorus of Ebay, and 2 cheap Danelectro FABs: Echo and Overdrive.
As far as I understand the Chorus should be the last one in the row, but do I have to put echo before overdrive or the other way round? Any "rules" or does/dont's?

Try guitar -> overdrive -> chorus -> echo -> amp or PA
