Good for you Rich. Such an uncommon model. Newton’s strings are that good - what is their make up? What did you have on before?

Glad you found the right strings for that particular guitar. We all have string preferences, but it seems there is something to be said for letting the guitar decide.

Chris (AcornHouse) directed me to them. They're handmade in Derbyshire, England. I believe they are made to order. They take a little time, but are worth the wait. They are double wound strings (nut exactly sure what that means). The guitar had mediums on it when I received it from Richard Peterson about a year ago.

Do you recall which particular set that you ordered for your DV-62? Was it the Heritage series or Master Class series?
