Mostam,

Is there more you wanted to know about your lovely F-212XL? I don't know if anyone confirmed the date for you, but Hans' bible does not cover the F-212XL from those years and you should probably get confirmation from him, @hansmoust

As for the factory it was produced in, it is entirely plausible that it was built in Westerly as others suggested even though that label says Hoboken. However, again, maybe Hans can confirm that for you.

Again, if you're looking to sell it good luck. My recommendation is to sell it as-is and let the next owner do whatever work is needed.

I don't know what SS means, but I think there is a problem on the treble side of the neck-top joint. The first picture of this thread is showing a possible, small movement of the top wood between the B and E pairs of strings. This is indicative of a failed upper transverse brace. neck block movement, or even the neck moving upwards(neck trying to rotate upwards). It should be looked at immediately by an experienced luthier/guitar repair person as if left unattended can lead to more extensive damage. At the very least, slacken off all of the guitar strings until somebody expeirenced can take a look at it.
