Here's a decent looking '78 D35 that just went up on Ebay. Might be one to keep an eye on if you're interested in 'hog/spruce top. $0.99/NR. The dings/scratches don't look bad from what I can tell. As long as the neck joint and bridge are okay.

Sounds like a perfect case for an arch-back D-25 or one of the other laminated backs.

Agreed with the others, though, you're gonna get a solid soundboard. Don't know if that'll be a problem for ya'.
