I acquired this little gem recently but it needed some TLC. The bridge was lifting slightly and there was a number of cracks on the back. My luthier did a wonderful job of fixing both issues and the guitar now plays great all the way up the neck and sounds fantastic! L-O-U-D for a small-bodied instrument, that's for sure!

The serial number actually lies somewhere outside of the published lists - it's AG-300X. I'm figuring that it is still a 1969 but I'll stand corrected if anyone knows for sure. There's a considerable amount of cosmetic wear and tear on her, all of which magically vanishes once the playing begins! I also have the original case.

I'm not inclined to sell but I was wondering what anyone thought the guitar might fetch in an eBay scenario...?

Thanks and enjoy the pics!

Hello bb,

That makes it an F-20 from 1970; not really different from a 1969-model.

Sincerely,

Hi BillyB,
Great looking F20!
I'd certainly be happy to spend some alone time with one of those classic Guilds. Imagine the stories it could tell and the songs it has sung!
All things considered, it looks like the TLC did the trick and should hold you for years to come.

Take care and stay in tune,
Joe

...a considerable amount of cosmetic wear and tear on her...
If that's wear and tear, I've been waaaaay over-estimating myself in the mirror each morning!

Very pretty little guitar!
The Blue Book, fwiw, indicates a price of 900-1050 in excellent condition and 650-750 in average condition.
If you do decide to sell, (on behalf of all of the small guitar aficionados here) please consider posting it on this forum first!
Enjoy her.

Thanks for the kind words everybody!

And don't worry - if I were to sell, I'd definitely give you crackheads the first crack at it! :)

She's a beauty, warts and all Billy. If she were mine, she wouldn't be going anywhere. I love my F20, and don't plan on ever parting with her. As others have said, if you do decide to sell, give us the first shot!
