Is there "golden era" of Guild archtops that were made? I'm researching these guitars and would like to hear opinions on this.

Welcome here dallasblues!

I'd say there were an awful lot of good '59s for some reason or other, and the Westerly and Corona archtops don't do it for me like the Hobokens do. My $.02...

I personally love my NY era archtops in their own right and I feel they have more character, but I think that my Hoboken-era one is a bit better quality...

Love my Hoboken-made guitars, but that's not a reflection on Guilds made elsewhere, I just really, really love the ones I have.
