Good piece on DR Strings and Guild

I must agree with Tom, Bright Bronze for the D55, Vintage Bronze for the H & D, keeps them both "in character."

DR does make some fine flatwounds, though... :wink:

Bill, my favorite comment was:

Their flatwounds are very nice and last a long time (they are flatwounds, how do you tell? :lol: )

I about spit my morning coffee across the bed!! :lol:

Tom,

Those are two of my favorite strings, as well as GHS being one of my favorite string companies. I tend to be more indifferent when in comes to Phosphor Bronze strings. For those, I use whatever I have such as Martin, GHS, JP, D'Addario. I have yet to find on that I have really latched onto.
