Grammy Awards

I don't know if anyone here brought up the Grammy Award show, but hearing about it this year reminded me of something... it has been 40 years since I last saw a Grammy Award show.

1984 was the last Grammy Award show I watched. I think the last Oscars I watched was 1978.

I just find that I have no interest in watching award shows.

That's because awards shows are stupid. We watch them all except for the Grammys because my daughter (who was a theater major) loves them. She's like a rabid sports fan who can quote every winner from every category for the past probably 30 years. She gets mad after just about every one which makes me laugh because she knows they're dumb but she still loves them.
