Greetings!! I'm fairly new here so I would like to introduce myself 1st. I'm Romain and I play bass and acoustic guitar. I've been wanting a Guild for a long time and maybe finally I'll be able to own one. wish me luck and I really hope everything turns out well!

Well someone around my area is selling a Guild F4CE NT '92 model for $675. I want to ask you guys, the Guild Gurus what would be a good price for it. I also want to know if it is all solid wood construction. I'm just assuming it is because it's a guild but I'm just trying to make sure. Since also it's an older guitar what should I be looking for in terms of things that might be going bad?

I read a post about this guitar in this forum and it's a lil old so I would like to have a more updated response.

Thank you and I appreciate you all.

So I've been researching and trying to find out more about it. I don't know if what people posted are legit though. Someone from harmony central said it has brazillian rosewood fingerboard? It sounds to good to be true. And I saw another person post that it might be brazillian rosewood? I don't know, I really need help.

Help please. I can't really find specs for this guitar. it just said solid spruce top, mahogany body and neck fish man pickup and preamp.

That's all i got for specs. :(

Yes, probably way too late for Brazilian neck. I think the back is actually laminated which is standard for Guild archbacks, but there were a couple of the F types that were actually a solid carved block of 'hog and I can't remember if this is one of 'em.
Shoot a Private Message to JCWU, he has(d) one.

Thank you I found out what I needed to know last night with some intensive research. I am not buying the guitar because it had some cracks on the top. hehehe But I like it allot. The neck is so "smooth" It was real easy to play.

Now THAT seems to be a common characteristic of those "Valencia" shaped guitars, with the 1-5/8" nut.
Someone called the neck of my F65ce "supple". :D

The F4CE is what turned me on to mahogany bodied guitars. Before I was 100% a rosewood kind of guy.
