I'm guessing a bit here, but there are some creative and willing folks in Connecticut who could make that happen if so directed -- the GSR models are proof of that. The question will probably boil down to whether Fender corporate is supportive of this sort of thing. Remember, we had the whole Contemporary series come out of Tacoma over that short period when Guild was there, I expect even more from New Hartford...

Cross your fingers. :)

That's very nice. I would think people would be all over the limited editions. It would allow Guild to venture into some unique things and test the waters of consumer demand before totally committing to a permanant model. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this how the D-55 was born?

Many of the big manufactures have models with exotic tonewoods such as koa, walnut, cocobolo, macassar ebony, etc. So in order to stay competitive I would hope Guild would include models with these woods. So, I will keep my fingers crossed.

Beautiful guitar althought I must say that I personally prefer the standard black headstock treatment.

This is going to be very hard on GardMan.
His collection is compromised of Guilds made from the different woods that they used.

Dave,
Do I see a Guild with Koa sides and back in your future?
I want to play it when you get it!
