Guild M-30 How much is it worth?

the ghost label was 1959. possibly a couple 1960 Guilds have surfaced w the ghost label, but very few, if any.

As for the guitar for sale that is the op/subject of this thread, I have been in touch with the owner/seller and if the guitar lingers for a bit, I hope to connect with him face to face, and see if we can get it done. hoping to get down that way soon, just have my hands full on the homefront at the moment.

Actually, the Ghost label was used well into 1960, so there are quite a few instruments from 1960 that have that type of label. If you're talking M-30s from 1960 with a Ghost label ......... very few!

Update: the luthier notes are in and the guitar needs a lot of work. I am considering having the work done, or if someone here thinks they can do this work/would like to have their masters handle it, feel free to make me an offer

Before we move, would you clarify that your intention is to sell the instrument and you already have an asking price in mind?

I read your offer as asking if anyone had a luthier they thought could do similar work at the same or better price. It was not clear

In any event I think this is still in the fishing expedition stage and doesn't belong in FS yet.

Ok then. Why don't you start a thread in FS, with a price and we'll help get the pics there. The issue is that FS threads are heavily moderated and if someone has questions about price or condition they might better be here. By tradition the discussion in FS needs to be focused on the instrument for sale since the failure to do so allegedly killed a couple of sales.
