It should be very easy to do for the Indonesian factory. Take the S-100 body they are making there now and attach it to the Indonesian NS Starfire I-12 neck. And... poof... you'd get something like this with a sub-1000 dollar price point.

Only way I'd be interested is if they made it into a doubleneck, and I still probably wouldn't buy one.

GGJ.,
I'll give them a call, let them know what you'd like them to make, and get them right on it.
Anybody here have Mr. or Mrs. Guild's phone number?

Why not? You only own one double-neck.

Doublenecks look awesome and they are useful for that one song that needs them.

Doublenecks suck in almost every other way possible. They’re heavy as hell, both positions are uncomfortable, stringing them sucks, tuning them sucks, the cases are enormous, the guitar in the case is even heavier and more awkward than you thought it would be, and they are expensive as hell.

But they look awesome. :)

Maybe a folding carbon fiber double neck is needed in 2023

I strongly considered ordering a 6-string/12-string double neck Rick Turner Renaissance after I got my 12 string, which is an awesome guitar. They said they could make one for me, but I then thought better of it in a moment of lucidity.

A friend who I play with would actually benefit from a 6 string/bass double neck, since he plays mostly bass in our group, but can also play lead solos, and the transitions would be seamless for him.

GGJ.,
That they just look "awesome" is a matter of opinion that I do not share.
I would be embarrassed to ever be seen even just holding one.
