Interesting.
Given the way we all seem to have better ideas on marketing Guilds than Guild does, I wonder how it got there? Was it deliberate product placement with Guild's involvement, or did a prop person walk into a store and pick out the prettiest guitar in budget or was it the actor's personal instrument or what? I have seen cases where a production is actively selling "product placement" and they take steps to obscure logos and other features that identify a brand if the product is used but placement is not paid for.

I agree - this is a very popular show, so that Guild was seen by a lot of people. Can't complain about that!
