hi GAD answered/posted a photo for u in the other thread: A84B8B57-0DDF-4112-B575-70B541B5FB76.png

the 1x15 was a stackable Thunderstar Bass cabinet(s) from around 1966-1969 approximately. I would guess the "standard" badge was essentially just that, a badge. maybe it has a different speaker than one without the badge (JBL vs non JBL)? or they just ran out of badges. or the badges came later. or a lot of the badges fell off. We have certianly seen the standard badge before.

I've got one, with a D140, and a double with 2 D140s. Maybe a bit more than 50% larger.

It actually looks like that's the reason. The June 1969 price list shows for the first time the "Standard" models, the "D" used JBL D-140F speakers versus the "S" used "heavy duty special design speakers".

The November 1969 price list adds the T-Star Bass Spkr System as standard version (vs the JBL and ElectroVoice versions). The complete amp (right) had the "Standard" in the name.

Same for October 1970 price list.
I have no 1971 price list but in the April 1972 price list they were no longer offered.
