I received my guild t-100-d from a friend, but the pickups very week, barley any pull whatsoever they barley have any sound at all on the neck and bridge pickup. I'm pretty sure they need to be remagnetized.
And advice would be greatly appreciated

Those aren't DeArmond pickups. They are the Guild pickups, commonly known as "Mickey Mouse" pickups. First thing to do is take the bezel mounting screws out, flip the pickups over, and see if there is a capacitor soldered from one of the terminals to ground. If there is, clip one end and tape the cap off. That should take care of that.

Hi,

I have a Slim Jim with Mickey Mouse pickups and disconnect this cap at the neck pickup. Do you think the cap at the bridge pickup should also be disconnected?

Thanks Ben

The sole reason that I can rationalize for having those caps is to make the tone more jazz acceptable. I would absolutely clip that out of the bridge circuit.

That cap dumps high frequency directly to ground *at* the pickup. You can have the tone control all the way up, and still not get full treble.
