How Do I Delete My Own Thread??

I'm lazy. In most forums, I just hit edit, highlight everything, and type in a row of X's.

I do, however see the word Delete right next to the word Edit. Am I on to something?

I'm not sure what the current forum restrictions are, Charlie, but I'm pretty sure a user can't edit/delete posts after a certain age of post and you can't delete threads. Moderators (like me) can bypass those restrictions at user request.
