Hi,
I am fairly new to the site and having a hard time figuring out how to post pictures on this site.

Just picked up a sweet 1980 S-60D that I want to share with everyone.

Thanks

Tommy

Create a free account on a site like Imageshack or Photobucket. Upload the pics there, then embed them here using the Img button when you post. Or, you can email them to me and I'll put em up for you. Either way. I think there is a post floating around here somewhere with more in depth instructions as well.

Hi Tommy and welcome to LTG; Click this link for instructions on posting pics. Congratulations on your new Guild guitar!
That's the one! It shows how to use Imageshack. I prefer Photobucket...less popups and ads...but, meh...either one works.
Hi H-man; I like Photobucket (Coastie calls it FauxToeBoucquette :? ) too for the same reasons ... if Tommy figures out how to use one of them, he can use any other. Imageshack is aimed at ES and middle school kids ... not that that's a bad thing ......

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I should be able to figure it out from here!

Man I got lucky on the S-60D. I picked it up on ebay and could not believe that my eyes when I recieved it. Very clean but the nut was chipped and looked like some of the grooves were filled with super glue and the rear pick up wasn't working. I replaced the pickups. A Deymour Duncan JB JR in the Bridge and a little 59 in the neck. Played it for the 1st time last night and was wowed by how damn good it sounded and how easy it is to play. I love the light weight feel compared to my M-80 and Les Paul.

I will post some pictures.

Tommy

Again thanks for pointing me in the right direction on the photo's
