Heard this song on the Heartstopper series... and looked and lo and behold.... it's TS. She's truly amazing. If you don't like her that's fine, just pass this post by.....

What a pretty song....

The kid is good...no, I am not a "Swiftie," and really do not care for her more recent stuff...but she has shown she knows what her presence has required of her, and I give her kudos for that. In my heart, I would love to see her visit the kid in Boston who needs a heart-transplant, he could use her support...

Not really a fan of her music, but it isn't intended for me.

I have huge respect for her as an artist in control of her art in the music industry cesspool that exists today.

Among her many talents, she has been and continues to be a tremendous role model for young women...

In no particular order and at risk of repetition of things already said above:

Good looking. Intelligent and articulate when necessary. Slightly goofy in a humorous way at other times. Tough and resilient. Shrewd business woman--seems to have taken on the music business and won. Mentor to younger female talent, helping to guide them through what can be a manipulative and exploitative business even for young male talent. Good employer--reputed to treat the people who work for her extremely well. Talented.

I am not a fan of her extremely well crafted good "cookie cutter" pop, however.

But I do acknowledge that while it is probably easy to churn out tedious, trite, formulaic cookie cutter pop, it is an entirely different thing, something requiring considerable skill, to create good cookie cutter tunes, breathing spark into the formula. She is skilled.

What's not to like or respect?

I don't really listen to a lot of music myself. But Neal Katyal is often a legal analyst on MSNBC, and last time he was on, I was kind of surprised that he said he was anxious to get back to Taylor Swift's new album. But then, he also went to (and got stuck at) Burning Man last year. This is all somewhat surprising since Katyal is "the Paul Saunders Professor at Georgetown University and the former Acting Solicitor General of the United States... a best selling New York Times author... He has argued 51 cases before the Supreme Court of the United States." And apparently a Swift fan.
