Installing HB-1s in an S-300D

I searched to see if this topic had been discussed before. Might have missed it though.

Am I correct that HB-1s are larger than DiMarzios? Could HB-1s fit in an S-300D without doing any type of additional routing?

HB1s will fit because the rings on an S300 are actually for the HB1s. If you look at the installed Dimarzios you may notice that there is too much room around the coils compared with other brand guitars.
