Funny that this photo came up on Facebook after the thread earlier today. Looks to me like Jack Casady with a DeArmond equipped X500, and I definitely have never seen this photo before. Don't recall ever seeing it posted here either, but I might have missed it.

Jack always had the best hippie threads (and shades).

I often use TinEye on a photo to see if there is an "original" use with a believable caption. In this case I think we now can safely date the photo with guitar to 1967.

Of course if we were truly motivated we could probably date a photo of Jack pretty closely based upon the hairstyle, glasses, headgear and presence or absence of "hippy" trappings.
