This may have been posted previously, but other than a Seth Meyers clip I don’t recall seeing any other videos of JM with this guitar.

I'm sure he would have used her more if not Guild was sold right at that moment! He endorsed Fender (FMIC, which Guild was part of) at that time and moved on to PRS afterwards.

NO! The American Patriarch was the most PERFECT reissue!Isn't that the model with the misalignment issue? I wonder if he noticed.
Here is the link about my NAMM report from back in 2013, unfortunatelly I was not able to re-create the now missing pictures as the new forum software only allows 10,000 characters per post and my one had more... Also seen using a SFIV, which has been posted out here. Interesting is the comparison on the same tune between Guild and Gibson. There are many factors that contribute to tone, but I think the Guild wins all day long. To me, the Gibson sounds a little thin comparatively.

i got a friend who is a huge JM fan. he plays guitar too and has bought all the JM fender and PRS signatures.

The complete specs for the AP Aristocrat are posted in my post #4 above (not the picture but the NAMM 2013 post). Even the 50ies Aristocrats had laminated spruce tops.

I am hugely fortunate to own one of its cousins (maybe twice removed). According to the serial number and Guild's chart, it is a 1974.
