A number of years ago, Jean Larrivee, the god father of Canadian luthiers, up and moved to California. He left behind a small shop here in Vancouver, which closed down last year, sadly ending an era in Canadian guitar making.
He is most noted for his light and very bright acoustics, but he has also made electrics. Here is one of his California models that is being discontinued. What do you think? Bluesbird or Les Paul clone?
