Don't lie to me. I know they exist. Saw one on Ebay a couple of months ago that eventually went for $810 and I fear that not bidding on it will haunt me forever. It was brown/natural with a plexiglass pick guard. super sweet.

one of these days.. I need me one of those.

Welcome to LTG, Lenny. Someone here may know where to find that elusive lefty S-100, some dedicated owners on the board. Stay tuned...

Welcome LEL. Now that we know what you're looking for we'll help you find it. We could use a lefty member of the S-100 Owner's Club.

Thank you for the warm welcome!

oh lawd. that is interesting, but the price is a bit steep.

did a search of my own there and found this
http://www.gbase.com/gear/guild-1980-starfire-iv-d-lefty-1980-dark-brow

this is actually a bit more interesting to me, I like the color and the cream pickups, plus I woudn't feel as bad about using it, as it is a bit younger and its not-quite-mint contition. Still the price is a little high for what I should be spending right now, but I will consider it carefully by the end of the summer, as I'll then have some money to spend (hopefully).

glorious eye candy though!

come to think of it, a semi hollow might be an even better investment than an S-100, seeing as my current collection consists of a Strat and a Heritage H-150.

plus, (semi) hollows absolutely kick ass!

still on the lookout for an S-100 though, it just out-cools the SG by miles!

Don't understimate the power of the S-100 Owners Club. If there's one out there, we will find it for you.

You should, because there's nothing we like better than spending other people's money! :D

either the site is weird or the listing is expired/sold. the inquiry form just redirects me to a search for guild at musiciansfriend.

Yep, it is a dodgy site. I spent ages looking for a suitable s-100 and kept coming across it.
A Starfire is a very different beast, but you can't go wrong with either (or a Bluesbird)

No, not yet! It is still with Jeff. He had some problems with USPS insuring it over the counter then picking it up form his address via Click'n'Ship (necessary for cheaper shipping). He is looking at what can be done with a commercial USPS account. It has been a bit of a long road.
