Welcome fonics2000.

I have seen several of them on ebay over recent months, so keep looking, they are around.

Here is mine in its original form...

and with a recently added harp tailpiece and rosewood bridge...

The mod is fully reversible with no visible signs, and I may just revert back to the original bigsby in the future if my jazz kick ever comes to an end.

Best of luck with your search!

That's the one! That's a fine looking box and I bet it sounds as good as it looks. I had a 2000 X160 but the body depth was to thick--I believe it was 31/2". Can you tell me the width on yours? I've heard 2-21/2" which works great for me.

That reminds me of an Epiphone Wildkat, only much, much better because its a Guild. Epiphone called this color Sunrise Orange and was available in a limited run in 2006.

Rick,

I believe the X-170/T is 2 1/2, but I'm sure someone will chime in to confirm that. It does sound very good, and while I still like the sound of my X-500 a little better for jazz the X-170T is a much more comfortable guitar to play and is more versatile (IMHO).

Sweet looking guitar! It brings back the memory of an Epiphone Elitist Country Deluxe I bought a few years ago. I loved the look and sound of it, but beyond the 12th fret the board progressively and significantly veered away from the strings. I bought it new, and unfortunately didn't notice it before I brought it home. I tried to have the seller ship it back to Epiphone to have it fixed, but he insisted there was nothing wrong. I just couldn't get past that, so I got my money back. While I love how my 170 plays and sounds and think it's a better guitar, I still wish I had the Epiphone (in proper condition, of course).

Ian,

Look closely at the LP Cover. It has the band and the LP title written in the upper left hand corner.

Rolling Stones - Made in the Shade. Here are some pictures that show all of the covers I have up. I have many more, but of course wall space is limited.
