the track you've linked does not a feature a Guild but a very nice 61 Rick 4000.

Good grief! A 61 4000?!
Those are insanely rare.
They are nothing like Rickenbacker has made since...
I'd like to see that one....

Yowza!!!
That's stunning.
Very nice indeed!
I wonder if that was Mike Lull's old one....

Yep, on a closer less starry eyed look, I see it's missing it's tug bar and mute tracks (easily removed...)
Beautiful last year example just the same.....
Makes me want one again......
Ahh, to have loved and lost(well sold...LOL!)...

The date under the name plate says 61, but there are muckety-mucks at Rickenbacker who think its a 57.

Hmm, a maple neck-through fireglo in '57?
57 would have mahogany...(or later walnut).
Very early on, the body wings were also bolted to the neck-through as well as glued similar to the early combo 400/450...
But this was sporadic, and really only appeared on some(not all) basses into early '58.
Also, if you have a serial number to go by, a 57 would be B7xxx, and 61 would be Ax-xxx...
But who am I to argue with muckety-mucks... LOL! Rickenbackers from the 50s are delightfully inconsistent.
Regardless, it's a beautiful bass.
