In a tale of two saddles, it was noted that the G string had chipped the saddle on my M120e, so clearly it was due for a replacement:

Not to mention when it was plugged in, there was no uniformity across all strings. I attributed that to the current saddle also not seating in the slot fully or the saddle bottom uneven. So on the advice in that thread, I first got my saddle doo hickey tool to ensure a flat square bottom:

Then I ordered a Guild saddle off Reverb that was close and whittled it down to match the current one:

While the saddle was out I inspected the bridge, saddle slot and pickup wire and seemed OK:

So I fit the saddle in the slot and strung her up(with 80/20s too, heard somewhere they might brighten up an all hog guitar 😉) to see where things were with the action and intonation. Not too bad on the action first pass, might lower it a tad, but it otherwise feels good. The intonation isn’t perfect, slightly off on a couple so I need minor tweaks yet. The best thing is the Plugged in sounds are fixed, and it sounds balanced across all strings, the tone and volume controls work, so I’m super pumped!

These are such fun couch guitars, I love this thing.
Cheers!
