This and a few others were recorded in 1928, and then it was all sidelined when market crashed/great depression.
Then this song found its way to some folk/blues compilation in 1963 or 4, and MJH became a household name among folk and blues enthusiasts "overnight". Listen how fast this tune is:



really, nigh 40 years and then all of sudden his phone started ringing or people started knocking on his MS home door lol.

Got to watch out at the ends of the verses where he cuts 2 beats (if you counts them as fast beats). But not always. Sometimes he's just ready to get to the next verse/chorus.

I read somewhere these recordings were physically strenuous as he had to sit solitary and still, right up against the mic and his neck was killing him trying to keep the recording pose and playing and singing.
