Hey team - Just purchased this one from Japan. Not much to go off of, just a few photos. Looks like maybe Westerly made? Or is it a NS or? The chesterfield looks Westerly? Looks like replaced pickups and volume/tone knobs. Also thinking non-original tail piece and TRC? Depending on when it was made, the bridge could have bee installed?

I was tempted to say Patriarc, but those had spruce tops IIRC.

The inlays going past the neck joint rule out Newark St.

I think someone "Guilded up" a DeArmond.

I agree with GAD. It has the milky white inlays of a Dearmond and a Dearmond TRC. They probably used one of the Guild Chesterfield stickers and painted over it. It's a pretty convincing job.

I am also in agreement, looks like a Guildified DeArmond.

I sent a message to the seller questioning the guitar. He was very kind and willing to cancel the transaction. He also said that there wasn’t a serial number on the back of the headstock.

Unfortunately, buying a DeArmond and lifting the pickups is a pretty common thing. We've had a few people stop by with similar guitars through the years. As long as it's disclosed and the price is right, it's not always a bad deal.

You also see the hole where the pickguard was fixed next to the bridge pickup.

And the typical headstock shape of the Dearmonds (different from Guild), bet it was a late 1999 or early 2000 M75.
