Know the feeling well. I've had progressively worsening tinnitus for some time time now.

When I saw this photo, the first thing that popped into my mind was "Guild gone bad" with the cigarette, because of a photo pinned on my colleague's cubicle wall, which we referred to as Basset Gone Wild, because he used to have a Basset hound.

My apologies. That's just how my mind works.

*A major: This key includes declarations of innocent love, satisfaction with one's state of affairs; hope of seeing one's beloved again when parting; youthful cheerfulness and trust in God *

I never had to find room on my headstock for cigarettes, because they were always tucked between my right-hand ring finger and pinky, like this guy:

Even had a disgusting smelly brown stain there from all the cigarettes burning down.

If you got one of those older (or younger) Guilds with the paddle headstock, you'd have a little more room. just sayin'

Heh. Yeah, you could probably get half a pack on a twelve string.

I'm was in the tuck-'em-between-two-strings-on-the-headstock school.
First time I ever saw that was on the back of the first Quicksiler Messenger Service album, it's how John Cippolina did it.
"twas the height of cool until I thought a smoke had gone out one day and shut the the case on the one still stuck in the headstock.
Instant mojo.
