This isn't going to start out on a real happy note.
In case I mentioned it here, our closest neighbor and good friend couldn't go on - supposedly - and did away with himself at a woodsy rest stop "Holiday in Cedonia" last June, leaving quite a trail of unhappiness we're still dealing with.
His house was directly across a small meadow from us, there another quite secluded house across a creek, up against a hillside, and another in similar location just north.
So, a cluster of 3 house around the one of the deceased, in a triangle, The Bermuda Triangle.
We recently find out that other neighbors, people from down the road who never got to know him or just simply shunned him because he wasn't a partier, even people who actually vibed him out are now calling our end of the valley The Bermuda Triangle.
And because the neighbor and I had a run in once about driveway speed, they about as good as blame his passing on me, I actually read a text that read "No one should have to live near someone like me".
So this is grotesque but not surprising, and this is why I love my cat so damn much...
But there's three households affected by this moniker and I think we need T Shirts.
And so you can look up the triangle, listing startboard maybe 10º, and I'd kinda like a "Skull and Crossbones" that say B on the left side, R on the right.
It's kinda Dark Side of the moonish, the triangle.
Also known as the Devil's Triangle.
And the irony of being described as something that's an urban legend is not to be overlooked.
