I've been reading this board for a while and appreciate all the information I've poached from the advice given to others. Bought a '64 M20 back around 1970 and carried it around in a "gunney sack" for decades until turning it over to my son for safe keeping. Lucked into a '78 D25M a few years ago and, with the guidance of the board, have now acquired a '75 G312 and a '93 DV52.

I'm pretty content at this point. One question though: my M20 does not have (and evidently never did have) a pickguard. Seems like that is pretty uncommon but is it unheard of?

Hello Dan,

Welcome! To be honest ..... I've never seen it, so I guess it was probably ordered without one.
Would love to see a photo!

Sincerely,

Welcome aboard, Dan, and sounds like a great stable. Definitely, as Hans suggested, post up some pictures when you can!
