Greetings all. My name is Frank Grace in Seattle. I am currently consumed by Guild fever, particularly archtops! I just purchased a 1956 CE 100 and I am just loving this guitar. Wondering if anyone has any leads on volume/tone knobs from that era that are for sale. Thank you and I look forward to being a member of the forum.

Hello Frank,

Welcome! If your CE-100 is indeed from 1956 ( ser. #3000-4000) it probably should have had what is usually referred to as 'stove knobs'.

They come up for sale every once in a while but if you have trouble getting them, just contact me through my website.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust

Welcome Frank. If you cannot find them elsewhere, definitely contact Hans. He has supplied me with parts a couple of times already, reliable and fair, not to mention the parts are authentic and new.
Geez, those knobs are aptly named. If you want I can send you a pair off my Kenmore stove

Welcome, Frank. With stove top knobs, you'll be cookin'. For the best info about the correct parts on Guilds, get a copy of Thr Guild Guitar Book, by Hans Moust.

Speaking of knobs, Emmylou Harris and I.... Oh, never mind.

Hi Frank,

I've got a couple pairs of extra Dakaware "stove" knobs...

They're exactly the same ones used on my '56 CE-100.

Send a PM or email if you're still looking.....
