I just replaced my pickups with a set of Seymour Duncan '59s. The dimarzios were long gone, an unknown Gibson was in the neck and there was some sort of Duncan in the bridge marked sh4 0656. Its possibly a super distortion...
Nevermind. Dimarzio was a SD it's an SH-4 anyone want a cheap pickup?

The iPad camera needs perfect lighting and no reflections to take good photos...
Haven't got to rock out yet because my daughter is in bed, sound good through the headphones though

I second that notion. Now if you had replaced a set of original HB-1s, then we might be taking a different view.

We're the Dimarzios larger like The hb1s? These bases don't completely cover the pickup holes.

I don't care what pickups were in there before, including HB1's. I think you shoul put whatever pickup you like in there. It's not like something that you can't change back. I'll swap out pickups in a skinny minute. Some of my guitars, I've had several types in. One of my bluesbirds has single coils in it and I love it for certain applications. I had humbuckers in my X160 for a while. It's your guitar.
